The Eddie Borgo collection is a study in traditions; American costume jewelry, the history of rock and roll and the heritage of New York City. Designer Eddie Borgo brings in new energy and a modern perspective to these well established themes, fusing high end and street in every piece he creates.
Starting in 2002, Eddie Borgo started creating one-of-a-kind pieces for stylists like Tabitha Simmons, Camilla Nickerson and Patti Wilson. Eddie was asked to create the jewelry for Phillip Lim’s ss09 show, at which he launched his namesake collection in the summer of 2008.
The Eddie Borgo collection debuted with ss09 at Barneys New York, Colette in Paris and Liberty of London. The collection is now sold at over 60 doors globally; including Scanlan and Theodore in Australia, boutique 1 in Dubai, luisa via Roma in Florence, Corso Como and boon the shop in Seoul, Restir in Tokyo, le bon Marche in Paris, Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Hide and Seek in Singapore.
In 2010 Eddie Borgo was awarded runner up in the CFDA / vogue fashion fund and in June 2011, Eddie Borgo won the CFDA Swarovski award for accessory design. Eddie Borgo has collaborated with other designers including Marchesa, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu and Joseph Altuzrra.
