Meister (MSTR) is an independently owned and operated company based out of Los Angeles, California that was founded in June 2009 by Kingson Tse & Ryan Pietersz. With the two friends sharing similar interests in customized cars and fashion, the young entrepreneurs pursued their own business ventures while still attending college. From the early to mid 2000’s, while customizing cars was still considered big business, they capitalized on the booming market by designing and manufacturing carbon fiber body kits for high performance cars. With their carbon business in full swing, they were also avid sneaker collectors that saw the potential to make some extra money distributing hard to obtain sneakers internationally. When the economy took a turn for the worst, the custom automotive industry was directly affected and the two luckily cashed out before it was too late. They were able to make many valuable connections within the industry that would help them in reaching their long term goals. After earning bachelor degrees in Business Administration, the two decided that with their knowledge and experience they would start working on their dream – to successfully build an internationally renowned brand.

Being fashion connoisseurs themselves, they realized the absence of a designer accessory brand that offers quality products at an affordable price. With the growing number of fashion conscious consumers in mind, MSTR was created to fulfill that void. Although their headquarters are located in Southern California, MSTR designs reflect styles found from all around the world. Tse and Pietersz have been fortunate enough to travel to various global destinations that have inspired them to create unique timepieces that showcase the world’s taste in wrist fashion. They understood that building a successful brand does not happen over night and although many unforeseen factors came into play that hindered their growth, they knew that with dedication, integrity, and passion – success would follow.
